Tecumseh Football blanks Waite, Swim & Dive post 6 State Cut Times, Girls Cross Country places 7th


The Tecumseh varsity football team pitched a shout out on Friday versus Waite. Alex Foss passed for 2 TDs to Will McAran and Drew Cameron. Cameron also caught a TD from Dylan Day. Tecumseh out gained Waite 290 yards to 168 as the defense played a monster game. The team moves to 3-2 and is on the road next week at Pickney.

Swim & Dive

​For the first time, Tecumseh was invited to a D3 Invitational meet hosted by Holland and Zeeland. Tecumseh ended the meet 7th with ​135 points. The team finished with 27 Best times with 6 of those being State Cuts! The team is excited to see most of the teams again at the end of the year and see where we measure up.

Cross Country

The Tecumseh Girls Cross Country team finished 7th out of 13 at the Jackson Invitational on Saturday, Sept 23.

This meet has always brought great teams, and this year was no different. The teams that finished ahead of Tecumseh are all currently ranked in the top 20 in the state. Tecumseh showed well considering the extremely hot conditions with Kaitlin Knape finishing first for the team with a strong 13th place and the top freshman in Division II. Katie Selenko was Tecumseh's other medalist at 25th place.  

The team's next meet is the SEC jamboree #2 (white division) at Heritage Park.
