Individuals interested in exploring current topics in education and child development are invited to participate in a community book study hosted by Tecumseh Public Schools.
The discussions, led by Dr. Kelly Coffin, TPS Superintendent will be held quarterly. The summer study will meet at the Tecumseh Public Library, 215 N. Ottawa St., Tecumseh at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24.
The series kicks off with Teaching Kids to Think: Raising Confident, Independent, and Thoughtful Children in an Age of Instant Gratification by Darlene Sweetland, Ph.D. and Ron Stolberg, Ph.D. Future topics and titles will be decided by book study participants.
A limited number of books are available for borrowing from the library, or they may be purchased through online retailers. The book study is open to all community members, however registration is recommended. To learn more or to register, please call 517-424-7318.
