Preschool Program Gingerbread Houses Support Habitat for Humanity

Learners in Audrey Frederick and Kathy Wilson's morning and afternoon preschool classes at Tecumseh South Early Learning Center learned about different types of buildings and how they are constructed. As a part of this unit, they designed and built gingerbread houses to sell at the Craft Show held on Dec. 8.

The learners raised $101 for Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County. Thursday, Dec. 20 they hosted special guests, Carrie Hartley and Lynne Punnett from Habitat to share what they learned and present them with their donation and gingerbread houses to display.
