Tecumseh High School is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Pave Your Path Day, on Thursday, March 28. We hope this event will bring awareness and insight to students and their parents about the vast possibilities for post-secondary education and training, and prepare for their future endeavors.
Our Pave Your Path Day will be a powerful way to support our students with career and college readiness. We will have 20 college/university admissions representatives coming to Tecumseh High to talk about their respective schools, their programs of study, financial aid, community life, extracurriculars, and answer questions students may have.
Adding a multi-dimensional layer to our event, we are pleased to add over 15 working professionals presenting information about their work environment, necessary skill sets, education needed, earning potential, and the training needed to become employed in that particular career. Interviewing tips and resume writing workshops will also be provided.
Pave your Path Day provides a wonderful opportunity to seek advice about not only a particular institution or career path, but to learn about actions that can be taken now to better prepare for post-secondary education and career readiness.
All Tecumseh High School students will take part in Pave Your Path Day. Parents are invited to attend as well to accompany their students. The event will be held at the high school from 7:45 - 11 a.m. There will be six sessions, each lasting 24 minutes. Students will sign up for the six sessions they wish to attend prior to the event.
