At the June Board of Education meeting, Tecumseh Public Schools swore in Lori Spotts as the newest member of the Board. Lori Spotts, a retired Tecumseh educator, will serve on the board as a trustee.
Spotts is a 37-year veteran of Tecumseh Public Schools where she served in various capacities. She also was the Tecumseh Education Association President for nine years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Adrian College and Master of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Eastern Michigan.
“As a board member, I feel I can continue to advocate for our students, and will strive to give our children optimal educational opportunities” Spotts said.
Spotts was selected by the Board to fill the trustee vacancy following the resignation of Dr. Edward Tritt in May. She will serve the TPS Board until the November election.
