The Tecumseh Transportation Department is working on improving the disconnect between the bus garage and parents/caregivers with the introduction of the Remind App.
Remind is a smartphone app that "makes it easy to stay connected to your school community." The Transportation Department can send real-time message to any phone about things like driver substitutions, late buses, bus route changes, etc. This will hopefully help streamline communications with parents about any changes involving their learners.
To sign-up for these messages parents/caregivers will need to first download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. To complete the registration they need to send an email to Shannon Gatti, Director of Transportation, containing their learner's name, school, bus route/routes, and the cell phone number of the phone they used to download the Remind App.
The Transportation Department will send a confirmation message through the app once they receive the registration information.
