Tecumseh Volleyball falls in semi-finals of Clinton Invitational

Tecumseh Volleyball played at the Clinton Invitational on Saturday ultimately falling to the hosts in the semi-finals. The Indians went 3-2-1 on the day and ended up finishing 2nd out of pool play. This put them into the semi-finals against Clinton. They lost a close match in two games, 23-25 and 22-25.

During pool play Tecumseh split with Clinton 23-25 and 25-26, defeated Lincoln 25-20 and 25-23, defeated Homer 25-20 and 25-18, and defeated Canton Prep 25-9 & 25-12. Their first loss in pool play was to Gabriel Richard 17-25 and 21-25. 

In an all-around team performance, Rachel Haft led the line hitting for 12 kills with 6 blocks. Lauren Anschuetz had 18 kills, 14 digs, and 9 aces. Kate Moorehead lead the team with 23 digs, and she also had 6 aces. Monica Meger had 32 assists, 9 kills, 13 digs and 6 aces. Lyndsey Benschoter had 31 assists, 7 digs, and 6 aces. Riley Chenevey added 12 kills while Morgan Dillon added 11 with 8 blocks.
