THS Girls Basketball smothers Ypsilanti with defense and MS Girls Swim performs strongly at State

THS Girls Basketball

The Indians came out strong in the first quarter scoring 18 quick points and holding Ypsi to only 3. The defense was on point again tonight as the Grizzlies struggled to get the ball in the basket. Tecumseh was able to put some pressure on Ypsilanti, get some steals and easy buckets. The Indians did a great job of handling the Grizzlies pressure, pushing in transition and getting the ball in the post. Marissa Pasha put up another double and had a great game with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Abbie McDowell had another great all around game and finished with 17 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals. Eva Alcock worked very hard getting the ball in the post, scoring 8 points and 8 rebounds. The final score of the game was Tecumseh 47, Ypsilanti 18.
