I love the challenges of being an art facilitator. Each day brings something new. I am inspired by our artist learners who come to art excited and ready to create! There is never a dull moment in the art room and ideas are always being tested out in new ways.

Art and design is all around us. I love linking art to everyday life as well as other cross-curricular areas of learning. The coolest part of my job is witnessing the individualism of each learner’s own personal style. I have a passion for incorporating environmental aspects as well, not just in the creation of art, but also everyday awareness of handling, reusing and recycling art materials.

It is amazing to see what our children can create and it inspires the work I do everyday. I am passionate about children appreciating the arts and giving them the tools they need to be successful in creating their own. Art allows us to learn about other cultures, travel around the world and develop an innovative mind which is crucial for our growing generation.
