Welcome to the Tecumseh Branch Campus Middle College!

The JC/LISD Academy is a public middle college program in coordination with Jackson College and the LISD TECH Center in partnership with each Lenawee County School District.

Tecumseh School District is proud to serve as a branch location with its JC/LISD Academy Tecumseh Branch Campus Middle College.

Students who choose the Tecumseh Branch Middle College are enrolled in a 5-year program. They take college classes during their 11th and 12th grade year, and in their 13th year attend college full time. Students graduate with their high school diploma, plus an associate's degree, trade certificate, or up to 60 credits toward a four-year degree.

The Benefits

A jump start on college in a supportive environment: We will help you choose and register for classes and support your continued academic and personal growth.

Reduced college expenses: The national average cost of attending a four-year public school is more than $28,000 per year and rising. The Tecumseh Branch Middle College provides tuition, books, and fees at no cost to students and their families.

A head start on your career: Whether you are seeking a trade certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree you will meet your educational goals and enter the career field of your choice much sooner than a traditional educational pathway.

Easy transition: With support from TPS teachers and counselors, the transition from high school classes to college courses is seamless. The Tecumseh Branch Middle College participates in the Michigan Transfer Agreement, which means credits earned in the program easily transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Flexibility: Students may participate in high school athletics and other extracurricular activities, or earn credits while participating in an on-the-job experience. We will help you prepare a schedule that is right for you.
