Welcome to the Tecumseh Campus Middle College!
My name is Greg Dolson and I am the lead instructor and liaison for the JC/LISD Academy Tecumseh Branch Middle College. Jennifer Morgan is the Guidance Counselor, and together we will work to ensure your student is able to accomplish their educational goals and post-secondary plans.
The Tecumseh Branch Middle College is a program for Tecumseh High School students offered in conjunction with Jackson College. Open to current freshmen or sophomores, the program provides the opportunity to begin taking college-level courses at Jackson College or work towards a trade certification while still in high school. Students enrolled in the Tecumseh Branch Middle College will have access to all THS athletics and co-curricular activities.
Students in this program, after five years, will graduate with a Tecumseh High School diploma, a Michigan Early Middle College Association Certificate, and the opportunity to obtain a trade certification, up to 60 college credits, or an associate’s degree. Each pathway in the program is fully funded and comes at no expense to the student or his/her families while enrolled at THS.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between high school and college, and provide students with multiple paths to post-secondary education. In addition to the many academic offerings, the Tecumseh Branch Middle College helps to develop the ‘soft skills’ required to meet the demands of post-secondary life. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for all of our students to recognize that post-secondary education and employment is a reality.
I welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have and discuss whether the Tecumseh Branch Middle College is the right fit for you.
