Brightspace LMS

D2L Brightspace will replace Buzz as the STEAM Center Learning Management System (LMS) starting in April, on a trial-basis. The goals of this pilot are to:

  • Aid in communicating more efficiently and clearly
  • Utilize a system that is easy-to-view and navigate
  • Communicate grades, class announcements, school-wide announcements, assignments, and assessments
  • Streamline the process in retrieving information, eliminating the need to visit multiple sites or programs
In June, TPS will again seek feedback from students, teachers, and parents on the pilot usage of D2L Brightspace at the STEAM Centers to determine the next steps as a district.
