Registering at TPS
Registration is required for new families who move into the district, would like to use the Schools of Choice program, or have learners entering kindergarten. You will need to provide proof of residency such as a purchase or rental agreement or utility bill, the child’s certified birth certificate, and their immunization record along with the registration forms provided below. Please refer to the document checklist for more information.
Welcome to Tecumseh! Families who have moved into the Tecumseh Public Schools district should complete the enrollment forms below and bring to the Administrative Services Building at 212 N. Ottawa St., Tecumseh.
Kindergarten Registration is held each spring. Children must be 5 years old by September 1 of the enrollment year. Learners who are 5 years old by December 1 may be accepted with a waiver.
Schools of Choice
Tecumseh Public Schools welcomes families wishing to participate in the Schools of Choice program. We accept applications during the application window each year. The fall Schools of Choice enrollment window has now closed. We will accept applications for the spring semester from December 10-21, 2018.
Schools of Choice families will need to complete the Schools of Choice application each year to remain enrolled in TPS.
Change of Address
Thank you for helping us keep our records up to date. Families who have a change of address within the Tecumseh Public Schools district should call the Main Office of your child's building. You will need to provide proof of residency, such as a purchase or rental agreement or utility bill to complete the change of address request.
School of Choice families who move to a new home outside the district must update their address with their child's building secretary. Please provide proof of residency to make this change.
Current TPS families who move outside of the district will need to apply for a release from their new district to remain enrolled with us.

NEW! Online Registration Now Available -
You can now easily update your child's information or enroll in TPS using Home Access Center!
New families may enroll and current families can now update most records information online using the Home Access Center (HAC). Please use the instructions below or use our printable step-by-step guide to update your account, or register a new student. If you have questions, please contact the main office of your child’s building. If you choose to register online, your registration will not be complete and your child will not be able to start school until all additional paperwork (birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization records) are turned in.

1. Go to Home Access Center (HAC) and login using your username and password.
2. Click Registration.
3. Select the Update Registration tab.
4. Click New.
5. Review and update your child's information. At the end of each section be sure to check complete and click save before moving on to the next page.
6. When complete, click Review All, and be sure all changes are correct.
7. Check I Agree and click Submit.

- Proof of residency and immunization records may be uploaded online.
- An official birth certificate must be presented to your child’s school office to complete new learner registrations.
