The Tecumseh Virtual Academy (TVA) gives learners the flexibility to learn anywhere, anytime and at their ability level. This online learning format provides learners with the opportunity to select from a variety of courses for advanced credit, credit recovery, and summer school.

A THS freshman will work with a local business owner to restore the Chief Tecumseh statue from Compass Early Learning Center. The base of the statue experienced significant decay, causing the statue to topple in early July. Upon completion, it will be returned to the main entrance of Compass Learning Center.
Summer is a busy time in our schools. Several maintenance and improvement projects are underway, including two significant projects at Compass Learning Center.
The City of Tecumseh is holding its third annual Fill-A-Bus-ter school supplies drive through August 16th.
When the doors of the two U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft opened on August 1 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, the precious cargo inside gave Americans throughout the world a sense of reverence and patriotism.

While many learners are still enjoying summer vacation, the Shooting Stars Marching Band is hard at work preparing for the 2018 marching season. Band Camp opened Monday, June 30 and 75 musicians reported to school for a five-day intensive training experience.
Tecumseh Public Schools has partnered with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to serve as a Meet Up and Eat Up location to help ensure that children have access to nutritious meals over summer break.
