tecumseh public schools

The Winter Formal ‘Snowflake Soiree’ at Tecumseh High School, scheduled for Saturday, December 4th, has been postponed.

Earlier on Saturday, the Michigan State Police contacted Tecumseh Public Schools officials after a threat was made against the event. The tip was made through the OK2SAY app. The tip is automatically investigated by MSP and sent to TPS and other local authorities.

Right now, the incident is under investigation.

The ‘Snowflake Soiree’ has been postponed to Saturday, December 11th.

Parents and students: this is the perfect example of how the OK2SAY app can work. Remember, any threat, small or big, please err on the side of caution and send the tip so it can be investigated properly.

Students can always bring a tip or concerns to the principal, a teacher or a staff member.

Further information will be made available on Monday, December 6th. The safety of our school community is always first and foremost in our efforts and this is a situation we feel warrants these actions.
