Our Link Crew leaders spent Monday and Tuesday training, team building, and preparing for an exciting start to the school year!

On Monday, they’ll officially put that training into action as we welcome the Class of 2030 to their very first day of high school!

This year marks our 14th year of Link Crew at THS, and we’re proud to continue the tradition of upperclassmen helping our newest students feel welcomed, connected, and ready for high school.

Our student athletes kicked off their first day back with a full day of dedication and teamwork:

We're proud of the commitment, discipline, and effort these student athletes demonstrated from start to finish. Just as importantly, they ended the day by giving back to our community, reflecting what it means to be a Tecumseh Indian.

Art students this week have been working on artist maquettes. This project is part of Christine Obeid’s Art and Design class at Tecumseh High School. A maquette is a model for a larger piece of sculpture, created to visualize how it might look and to work out approaches and materials for how it might be made. Students have been creating miniatures in honor of famous artists, including Vincent van Gogh, Marc Chagall, Rembrandt, and Leonardo da Vinci. They’re working together to create these pieces and are showing their creativity in their work.

If you're looking to spruce up your lawn, and want to support Tecumseh Public Schools, our Bond 2022 yard signs are now available for pickup. You can grab one of these beauty's at any of our buildings. If you can't get one this week, you'll have to wait until the week of April 11th. The district is on Spring Break next week. The last 'Breakfast with the Supt.' is now underway at Patterson Intermediate Learning Center. After Spring Break, we will have six more meetings about the bond proposal. 'Snacks with the Supt.' starts on April 12th. We'll keep you posted if we add virtual meetings to the schedule. One time change: The meeting on April 19th at Tecumseh High School is now slated to start at 6:30pm. We have a ton of information about the bond proposal on our website. Please check it out.
