Tecumseh Middle School Swimming & Diving was proudly recognized at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting as part of Superintendent Hilton’s “Good News!” celebration, highlighting their outstanding performances at the MISCA State Meet!  The MISCA State Meet brings together top 6th–8th grade athletes from across Michigan in all three divisions—and our team made an incredible showing!  🏊‍♂️ Diving Highlights: • Parker Dolson (6th grade) placed 12th • Mason Betz (6th grade) placed 18th • Mason achieved a personal best and climbed 4 spots from his entry position!  🏊‍♂️ Relay Success: • The 400 Free Relay team of Mason Betz, Matthew Chapman (8th), Parker Dolson, and Brayden Havelka (8th) dropped an impressive 9 seconds and moved up 3 places!  🏆 Record-Breaking Performances: • Brayden Havelka (8th) took 1st place in both the 200 Free and 100 Free, setting new school records in BOTH events—including breaking a 200 Free record that stood since 1996!  • Gretchen Myers (7th) earned 1st place in the 100 IM and 50 Fly! Over the course of the season, Gretchen set SIX new school records (including these two events) and also broke TWO MISCA State Meet records!  We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements. Way to represent Tecumseh!
