The weather finally turned to fall this morning, but that didn’t stop our students and staff from getting outside!

Today was Herrick Park and Patterson Intermediate Learning Center’s Walk-a-Thon. This walk-a-thon is part of the biggest fundraiser of the year for the PTOs of those buildings.

Money raised from the event goes towards several things, including school supplies and field trips.

All of the classes were outside at the same time. One grade walked or ran the track for about 40 minutes while the other grade levels played some field games. They would then switch.

There was music, stickers for laps completed, a football tunnel, popsicles, and more!

A special thanks to the cross-country runners from Tecumseh High School for helping and participating in the activities with our younger students.
