This Friday, October 21, the Tecumseh Indian Football program is joining forces with the National Football League and the American Cancer Society to host a ‘Crucial Catch’ game.
The varsity football team is playing Bay City John Glenn at Indian Stadium. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tecumseh players will be wearing a special pink jersey to support the cause.
Right now, the football program is selling Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts. All of the money raised will go right to the American Cancer Society.
Between the t-shirts and donations, the team is hoping to raise $5,000. Shirts can be picked up at THS starting today (10/17).
