Party on, Herrick Park Intermediate Learning Center!
Students and staff played the part during Friday's Sock Hop. Many dressed up in traditional 50s styled outfits, dancing and partying the day away. At the end of each session, the students were treated to a root beer float!
A Sock Hop is a dance party from the 50s and 60s where teens would take off their shoes and dance in their socks on the wooden floors in a local gym.
Just like over at Patterson Intermediate Learning Center, Herrick Park ILC is decked out in a rock and roll theme. Itās tied into National Reading Month for March because our students are Reading Rock Stars!
The next 'Breakfast with the Superintendent' is on Tuesday, March 29th.
