This week, our English 12 students Tecumseh High School had an unforgettable experience. Tomiris Abylhasymova, one of our amazing foreign exchange students from Kazakhstan, gave a powerful presentation on how the Russian Revolution continues to shape her home country today. As part of our Allegory Unit featuring 𝐴𝑛𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑙 𝐹𝑎𝑟𝑚, she made incredible connections between history, literature, and real-world events. Tomi’s insights sparked deep discussions, with students asking thoughtful questions about her country’s history, culture, and experiences in the U.S. It was an inspiring moment that truly brought learning to life!
